Sunday Morning with Pastor Henderson - "Encourage You To Repent" - 10/11/15

Scriptures

Proverbs 16:25
16  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Deuteronomy 30:1-5
1  And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2  And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
3  That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.
4  If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:
5  And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

Psalms 34:18
18  The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Jeremiah 4:1-3
1  If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.
2  And thou shalt swear, The Lord liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.
3  For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Ezekiel 18:21
21  But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

Matthew 5:3-4
3  Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

2 Corinthians 6:2
2  (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Main Points

We need to go back and repent.

There is no way you should be worse off than when you first came to God.

You can't praise God when your heart is hard.

You have to prepare yourself by repenting.

Now is the accepted time, the day of salvation!

Sunday Morning with Pastor Henderson - "Jesus Came For Your Drama" - 10/4/15

Jesus Came For Your Drama

Scriptures

Isaiah 61:1-3
1 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3  To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Main Points

Things that happen in your life either make you or break you.

Before you become anything, you have to go through something to become that.

Jesus came to go through it (drama) with you.

We need to give everything to God! Withholding nothing!
