Tuesday Night with Brother McKellar - "God Sees You" - 2/24/15

God Sees You

Scriptures

Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were mae by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:14
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we behind his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new.

Main Points

The devil has you right where the Lord wants you.

In the beginning God created the Heavens and Earth.  And still researchers have not discovered Heaven and have yet to find out all the mysteries of just the Earth.

The world thinks they've got God figured out, however it doesn't work that way.  This Earth was created for the purpose of God.

All things were created by Him and for Him.

You are not just born to be born. You are not just born to pass through.

The reason you were made was because God created you for Him.

You be faithful over a little bit, and God will give you a whole lot.

Sunday Morning with Pastor Henderson - "Words of Protection" - 2/22/15

Words of Protection

Scriptures

Psa 124:1-6
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, now may Israel say;
If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Psa 121:1-2
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

Main Points

Like the woman with the issue of blood, you need to get to Christ before this service is over because you don't know when your time will be up.

God is on your side.

Get your mind off of "man" and put your mind on God.

You want God to use you? He already is if he saved you.

You'll never have to worry if you put your cares in God's hands.

The thing that has all power is Love.

If it had not been for the Lord on your side, where would you be?

Sunday Morning with Pastor Henderson - "What is Your Expectation of God?" - 2/15/15

What is Your Expectation of God?

Scriptures Deuteronomy 10:12 - And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, Deuteronomy 10:13 -  To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Daniel 3:10-25 -
10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Main Points
Expectation is an act or state of expecting, hope, anticipation. You shouldn't have to think you are a Christian, you should know you are a Christian. If you worship God, praise Him and live for Him, he will be in the midst of your fire. You can't go wrong; he will deliver you as long as you live for Him and do what he says because he is God and can do no wrong.

Sunday Morning with Pastor Henderson - "How Do I Meditate On The Word of God?" - 2/8/15

How Do I Meditate On The Word of God?

Scriptures

2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Joshua 1:8 - This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Psalm 1:2 - But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Pslam 37:4 - Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalm 63:6 - When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Psalm 77:12 - I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Psalm 119:15 - I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

Psalm 119:16 - I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Main Points

If you make God look good, you also make yourself look good.

God wants us to meditate on his words day and night.  You can't meditate unless you know his word and you can't know his word unless you STUDY!

You have to make up your mind everyday to obey God.  It is a commandment of the Lord to study his word on your own free will.

You will be prosperous if you do what his book says.

Think upon his word day and night.  He can make our way prosperous and see that we have good success.  These are the first of many benefits.

Sunday Morning with Rev. Paschal - "It Isn't About Religion, It's About A Relationship" - 2/1/15

It Isn't About Religion, It's About A Relationship

Scriptures

- Psalms 102:18-22
18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.
 19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the Lord behold the earth;
 20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
 21 To declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the Lord.

- Proverbs 27:21
As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.

Main Points

- Just like you can provoke God to be angry with you, you can provoke him to come to your rescue.

- God is able to change your situation.

- He hears us.
